Myers presented a handsome silver cup for annual competition among the various railway workshops' cricket teams throughout the Dominion. Newmarket representatives succeeded in winning the .trophy from Petono. last Easter, after an exciting contest,- and this year" the Hillside (JJimedin) railway workshops' team is coming to Auckland to endeavour to secure possession of .the coveted trophy. Hillside is reported to have, a strong eleven, a win having been gained over Addingto* by four wickets a month ago.
