INFANTILE MORTALITY.
LOWER RATE POSSIBLE.
By Telegraph— Association— (Received December 10, 11.5 p.m.) London, December 10. The infantile mortality of London, according to a statement made yesterday by Dr. Truby King, of New Zealand, in a lecture at London University, could be reduced by one-third in six years if a system similar to that of the Plunket Society of New Zealand was adopted in the metropolis.
