WAIHI GRAND JUNCTION.

£16,832 FROM 8360 TONS.

TOTAL TO DATE, £784,054.

For tho period ended November 29, tho Waihi Grand Junction Gold Company, Ltd.. with 38.7 stamps running 24 days, crushed and treated 8360 tons of ore for a return of bullion valued at £16,832 lis lOd. No returns were forthcoming for the same period of last year, as the company had ceased operations, owinir to the strike. The total value of the bullion won from the mine to date is £784,054 18s Bd, as the following table of details shows :— £ a. d. The following cablegram was sent to the head olticc of the company, London, yesterday :— " No. 1 shaft is now down 1171 ft; the full width of the reef is 7it; value, 12s 7d. Empire Main Lode, No. 6 Level, East: Grace lode, crosscut is in 110 ft. Passed through ore body 32ft wido, composed of quartz and country rock of little or no value. Royal Lode : Crosscut is in 159 ft; the country rock is favourable. Royal Lode, No. 6 Level, East Drive: Crosscut is in 154 ft. Presents a favourable appearance Empire Lode, Footwall Leader, No. 6 Level, Winze No. 4: Depth 31ft; width of reef 43in; no walls exposed; value, £7 6s lOd. Empire Main Lode, No. 6 Level, Winze No. 4 : Depth 20ft; width of reef 4ft; no walls exposed ; no value.
