£16,832 FROM 8360 TONS.

TOTAL TO DATE, £784,054.

For tho period ended November 29, tho Waihi Grand Junction Gold Company, Ltd.. with 38.7 stamps running 24 days, crushed and treated 8360 tons of ore for a return of bullion valued at £16,832 lis lOd. No returns were forthcoming for the same period of last year, as the company had ceased operations, owinir to the strike. Presents a favourable appearance Empire Lode, Footwall Leader, No. 6 Level, Winze No. 4: Depth 31ft; width of reef 43in; no walls exposed; value, £7 6s lOd. Empire Main Lode, No. 6 Level, Winze No. 4 : Depth 20ft; width of reef 4ft; no walls exposed ; no value.
