An enjoy*(jVe evening was spent on Tuesday by the warehouse staff of the Tonson Garlick Company, Limited, at the invitation of Mr. A. Tonson Garlick, who recently returned from a trip to Great Britain ' and the Continent. Mr. A. C. Brown welcomed Mr. Garlick back to Auckland. Mr. Garlick then gave a graphic account of his travels, and an interesting description of the various processes of manufacture he had witnessed at the leading British and. Continental mills. Mr. Emmins,'' in moving a vote of thanks, spoke of the good feeling existing.between the stiff and Mr. Garlick'. Mr. McKenzie ■ seconded the motion, .which ''wag carried by, acclamation., • «•• -
