PONSONBY YACHT AND LAUNCH CRUISING CLUB.

The annual general meeting of the PonBonby "fkt and Launch Cruising Club was Mw. w eeiun *„ m the clubhouse, St. Mary s Beach. Mr. W. Wilson presided over 6 good attendance. The annual report and balance-sheet, which were adopted, showed that the affairs of the club were in a most satisfactory state. With regard to the membership, no less than 200 new members were elected last year, the fleet also being largely increased. The finances were in "a very healthy condition, and prospects for the season were very good. Officers for the ensuing season were elected 5 s follows:—Patron, Mr. A. Harper; president, Mr. J. H. Craig; auditor, Mr. »j "tewart • vice-presidents, Messrs. A. Adams, W. Mercer, H. Rowland: trustees, Messrs. W. Wilson, J. A. Stichbuiy, and C. Butler; committee, Messrs. W. Joynt, D. Craig. C. E. Mackie. G. Maekay, M. Mathe- £° n .- G. Saunders. G. Murray, G. Davis. G. Nairn, H. R. Cork, N. Veart, J. H. Murray; handicapptrs for yacht races, Messrs. R. Murphy, G. Nicholson, and Commodore W. Wilson; liandicappers for motor-boat races, Messrs. Ross, Mnclriei, and Wilson; delegates to association. Commodore W. Wilson and Mr. C. E. Mackie; delegates to Auckland Regatta Committee, Mr. C. E. Mackie and the secretary; club reporter, Mr. C. E. Mackie. The membership fee was fixed at 2s 6d. It was decided to foster class racing during the season, and it was suggested that the following classes of boats should race together:— and 24ft, 22ft and 20ft, and the keel boats.
