During the week ending August 9, the quantity of coal shipped at Newcastle for places beyond the State totalled 115,532 tons, ;as compared with 88,284 tons for the corresponding week last year. The proportions were: Commonwealth and New Zealand ports 67,300 tons, foreign ports 48,232 tons. ;
