VEHICLE'S PERILOUS TRIP.
Gisborne, Monday. a occurred at Ruakituri on <!'iturriiy- m connection with which a mystery appears to be involved. The drop would be about 30ft. He was subsequently picked up in the river bed with his head lying at the edge of the water. It is believed his neck was broken. The body was taken to Wairoa. It is not clear from the information to hand how Brown came to fall over the bank at the spot he did. Brown was a single ,aan, •£ years of age. He was a capable driver and horseman.
