Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Limited, Hamilton, report:— _ We held a clearing sale at; the Mount pleasant farm, Morrinsvillo. on account of Mr. o. Balfour, when wo offered the whole of his hvo and dead stock. There was a large attendance of buyers from all parts of the district, consequently bidding was brisk. We quote:—Fat wethers, 273; forward wethers, 21s Gd to 2is Sd: owes in lamb. 20s 6d to SOj 9d: ewes and iambs, 22s 6d; fat ewes, 225; fat hoggets, 16s 6d; store hognets, lSs-Sd to 16s 3d; springing heifers, £5 10$ to £G 2s 6d; Shorthorn bull, 7.Jgns.; two-year steers, £4. lis; calves, £2 2s 6d; busffy and pair, £70: draught horses, £38 and £ 39; medium draught. £13; unbroken threeyear filly, £-29 10s; roller." £14; D.F. plough. £18 10s; S.F. plough, £7 10s; sundries and implements at usual. rat*s. We held our monthly sale in Te TJlru yards, when wo had a fair yarding and report a good sale. We quote: 18-month [0 two-year steers, £3 18s; 18-month empty heifers, £3 63- to £4; yearling heifers, £2 16s to £3 6s; yearling steers, £2 14s to £3 33; empty cows, £3 Is to £3 7s 6d; fat cows, £5 Is to £6; springing cows arid heifers. £5 Is to £6 ss: calves. £1 18s; ( medium draught mare, £20.
