[BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN COItBEBPONDEN-T.J Whancabei, Friday. At the annual meeting of shareholders of the Auckland Farmers' Union, Mr. M. Harding, chairman of directors, who presided, congratulated the shareholders on the success of the past year's operations, which he attributed to the high prices ruling for wool, butter and stock. This, as he pointed out, was in spite of the past dry season, with its accompanying fires. in conclusion, he urged the introduction of fresh capital to meet the requirement!) of new business. Ihe balance-sheet, showing a net profit on the year's working of £2806, was adopted. .Messrs. A. E. Harding, M. Harding and A. Finlayson were re-elected directors.
