ASSESSMENT COURT.

Valuations in the Tamaki West, One-treo Hill, Epsom, Mount Roskill, and Remuera districts came under review at the sitting of the Assessment Court held yesterday in the Chamber of Commerce. Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M., presided, and with him were Messrs. Gerald Peacocke (representing the Government), Edwin Hall (West Tamaki Road Board), Garrett (Remuera Road Board), and Ewington (Epsom, Mount Roskill, and One-tree Hill Road Boards).. Mr. A. J. McGowan represented the Government Valuation Department, and Sir. F. MoKenzie appeared in support of the existing valuations. The Tamaki West Road Board submitted that a property owned by the Church of England . Trust and leased by Oswald A. White was undervalued at tho sum of £17,395. Tho Court decided to increase the valuation to £18,655, representing an advance of a littlo over £5 per acre. - Another Church property in the same district was similarly dealt with. In this 1 case the valuation was increased by £5 per acre, and raised from £2+oo to £2640.
