EARTHQUAKES AND GEYSERS.

ACTIVITY AT ROTORUA. [BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Rotortta, Tuesday. A period of nearly six months has elapsed since Rotorua experienced an earthquake. On Sunday afternoon one sharp shock was felt, and later two others were felt. On Monday morning another slight tremor was felt. Pohutu, after exactly five .weeks' inactivity, broke out at ten o'clock last night, and again, at six this morning. The first shot this morning roached fully 100 ft, the stream continuing to play 60ft and 70ft for an hour and a-half. The Prince of Wales' Feather and Waikorohihi.were also active.
