HONOUR FOR KING GEORGE
ALBERT MEDAL AWARDED.
By Telegraph.—Press Association.— London, May 20. The council of the Royal Society of Arts has awarded the Albert medal to King George in recognition of his' untiring efforts to become personally acquainted with the social and economic conditions of the various parts of his dominions, and to promote arts, manufactures, and commerce in the Kingdom and the Empire. I: It is hoped that His Majesty will receive the medal after his return from Germany from the hands of the Duke of Connaught, president of the society. - ; ■
