The Tophouse property, which was part of the estate of f the late Mr. John Kerr, consists of 2946 i acres of freehold and 2786 acres of Crown | leasehold. It has been purchased princi- T pally to givo access to Crown lands in the . Howard Block now being opened for settle- -'' merit. The country is suitable for pastoral , . and agricultural purposes, and when it is Z subdivided with portions of the Crown | land, the settlers will have in their hold- £| ings a . fair amount of open grass land on g which to begin profitable farming once.
