(New Zealand Minister for Defence and Finance) was the guest of the Canadian Parliamentary Association at a luncheon yesterday. The Speaker of the House of Commons presided. ;. The chief justice and others were present. . -: •' • ':■ The Prime Minister (Mr. Borden) referred to the great progress made by New Zealand, in common with the other portions of the Empire. •A great task, ho said, lay before the island Dominion. f Sir Wilfrid Laurier (Leader of the Opposition) referred to the question of All Red steamships, and expressed a hope that the Borden , Government would carry out the , scheme.
