THE TECHNICAL COLLEGE. PRIVATE ARBITRATION CASE. A private arbitration case, in which the sum of over £15,000 is involved, will come before Mr. E. Gerard, as private arbitrator, next Tuesday. The contractor for the building of the Seddon Memorial Technical College, Mr. Stahley Jeffries, is claiming from the Auck- ; land Education Board the sum of £15,606 alleged to be due to him in connection with the building of the college. Tho amount of the original contract was £20,889, and Mr. Jeffries's claim is for extras on the contract, for loss of time alleged to have been caused by the board s servants, and for loss of interest. Numerous witnesses will be called x and it is probable that the case will last some time.' The contractor will be represented by Messrs. Nicholson and Gribbi.n, an.i the Education Board by Mr. Towle, of Reed, Bailey, and Towle. •
