HAMILTON. i{ . - PARISHIONERS' MEETING. - At the annual meeting of parishioners of "St. Stephen's Church, the annual report while referring to . the consequences of many needs, stated there . were evidences of increased life to be thankful for, ' particularly the work of the Sunday-schools. Financially there was little- improvement shown, and if the parish had ; been fully staffed there would be a shortage of some £18. The report was adopted. Officers we're i appointed as follows Mr. F. A. Snell,; vicar's warden ; Mr. A. Swarbrick, people's warden; vestrymen, Messrs. English/Hall, Heywood, Holloway, and Whitton; sidesmen. Messrs. Le Quesne, . Ratcliff,. Information in regard to the new church showed that the trustees had some £1100 in hand, and it was estimated that they could borrow, say, £1600, this left an additional £2500 to be collected.
