[»T TELEGRAPH.—OWK OOBBESPONDBNT.] Htotlt, Wednesday, i Tarn religious ceremonies in connection with the marriage of Taipu, the third son of the late ."King" Mahuta, and Te Uira, daughter of the great Taupo chief, Te Heuheu Tukino, were celebrated on Tuesday afternoon at Waabi On his arrival Dr. deary, Catholic Bishop of Auckland, who was accompanied by Dean Lightheart, and Fathers Cahill, Zangerwerf and Ereaburg, received a very hearty welcome. The nuptial service, conducted by Bishop Cleary, and the visiting clergymen, was brief, and was followed with great interest by all present. It concluded with congratulatory speeches by the rangitiris present.
