TRAVELLING ALONE.

GOOD ADVICE TO GIRLS, Y.W.C.A. MOVEMENT. At the last general conference of th» Young Women's Christian Associations of New Zealand it was decided that a placard' containing suggestions to women and girls travelling alone should be hung in the women's waiting-rooms of the principal railway stations throughout the Dominion-, This resolution has just been carried into - effect, and the suggestions, clearly printed and well framed, are now to be seen at the stations, the Minister for Railways having consented to make no charge in the matter.
