HOCKEY.
AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION.MEETING OF COMMITTEE. A MEETING of the executive committee of the Auckland Hockey Association was held on Tuesday evening at the Amateur Sports Clubrooms. There were present: Messrs. i. B. Taylor. E. H. Parton, U. C. Culpan. A. M. Rowe, and L. H. Norton (hon. soorotary). Mr. F. Brooke Taylor was elected chairman, vice Mr. H. D. Hill (resigned). A letter was received from the city engineer stating that the usual grounds at tho Domain and Victoria Park had been allotted for the use of the association during the coming season. The secretary was authorised to act with the ttemuera Recreation Club and have Nob. 4 and 5 grounds put in first-class order. It was resolved to issue season tickets covering admission to all the association's matches at a charge of 10s 6d for a single ticket and 15s for a ticket to admit holder and lady. It was decided to limit the fourth grade to players who are under 18 years of ago on May 31 of the current season. It was also decided that the fifth grade be limited to primary school teams, all members of such teams to be under 15 years of age on May 31 of the current season. Players also must be bona-ftd.e members of the 6chool for which they play, and must have attended the school for 14 days prior to their participating in matches. The annual general meeting of the association was fixed for Friday, April 11, at 8 p.m., at the Chamber of Commerce, Swanson Street.
