RAILWAY ACCIDENT.
TWO RUNAWAY TRUCKS.
ONE MAN KILLED, NINE INJURED.
By Tcleeraph.— Association. — (Received February 25, 11 p.m.) Melbourne, February 25. A serious accident occurred at Yarra Junction to-day.
An engine and 10 trucks belonging to the Powell Wood Process Company were mounting an incline when two trucks broke away.
One of the trucks contained 15 of the company's employees. Six of the men jumped out before the runaway vehicles had gathered momentum.
The others were carried at a mad pace down the incline, when the trucks overturned.
Michael Curtain, one of the occupants of the truck, was killed, Francis Flynn was seriously injured, while the remaining eight were all slightly injured.
