"THE HEROES' SATURDAY."
Already the J. C. Williamson, Limited, management has received numerous offers of assistance in their effort to raise funds for the Captain Scott memorial. A meeting of local ladies will take place- in the dress circle foyer of His Majesty's Theatre tomorrow afternoon at three o'clock, when the members of J. C- Williamson's "Get-Rich-Quick Wallingford" Company would be pleased to meet those desirous of assisting in next Saturday's street collection parade, or who have any suggestion to make. The programme of the matinee performance is attractive The whole of the proceeds arc to be devoted to the Captain Scott disaster fund. There will probably bo a very brisk demand for seats when they are put up for auction during the afternoon tea on Wednesday, when Mr. Louis Lewis will act as honorary auctioneer, and he will be assisted by Air. Fred Niblo and Miss Beatrice Holloway.
