MAORI COMMITS SUICIDE.
SHOOTS HIMSELF WITH SHOTGUN. "v, [BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Te Puke, Friday. A well-known native at Maketu, Phillip Tapsell, committed suicide this morning. He discharged a loaded gun with the muzzle in. his mouth. Deceased was about 68 years of age. His health during the past week had been indifferent.
