Reutee's ' Pekin correspondent states that the six-Power group is considering 'he question of advancing a loan of £25,000,000 to China on the security of the salt gabelle (tax). It is proposed that £10,000,000 be provided within three months if China agrees to the reorganisation of the gabelle.
