Pearce, railway guard at Caversham, died at her parents' residence last night under circumstances pointing to ptomaine poisoning. The father and four children were taken ill simultaneously. The youngest child was very low for a time, but is now improving. An inquest was held to-day, when a verdicts-was returned that death was . duo I to ptomaine poisoning as the result of eating decomposed rabbit.
