CHRISTMAS MOTOR RUN.
. • ' ■ . ' I' ' ' ''' ■ ■ A Christmas excursion has been organised by tho Auckland Automobile Association. It is proposal to start from Auckland on Christmas Five, the motorists leaving the city at their own convenience, and meeting . at Wairakei. 1 From Wairakei the route will probably bfi to Whakatane via To Teko, and thence bo Hotorua bv way of Matata and Tauraiiga. Some of the motorists intend going on ■to Napier and others to Mount Egmont, but it n? anticipated that the majority will join in tie Rotorua run. The tour will extend over about 10 days.' The Automobile Association has recently been going ahead by leaps and bounds, and has now a membership of about 160, and as the greater number of these will probably take part in the excursion it should prove a highly successful run, especially if the weather remains fine. , . ; ,
