BISHOP CROSSLEY RETURNS.
engagements FOR TWO WEEKS,
The Anglican Bishop of Dr. Crossloy, has returned from his visit to Christchurcli. Ho will leave for Thames to-day to conduct a confirmation service there to-morrow afternoon, and he will preach in tne evening. Bishop Crossley will bo engaged on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday with candidates for ordination. Five priests, of whom one is a Maori, and two Maori deacons, are to be ordained, and tho service will take place in St. Sepulchre's Church at nine a.m. on Saturday, December 21. The sermon will be preached by the Rev. 0. A. B. Watson, of St. Paul's. • On the morning of Sunday, December 22, Bishop Oosslev will conduct a service in the Veterans' Home, and that evening a confirmation service at St. Columbas. At Hamilton on December 23 he will conduct a confirmation service. On Christmas Day the Bishop will hold a service in the district . hospital.
