Berlin, December 12. Bailiffs appeared at a concert hall in which Kubelik, the famous violinist, was giving a performance and seized Kubelik's Guarnieri violin, valued at £1500, to satisfy a judgment for £1250 given in favour of Hugo Gorlitz in connection with Kubelik's last tour of New Zealand.

Kubelik offered a cheque in payment of the judgment for the Return of his violin, but this was refused. Kubelik is shortly leaving for Vienna to undergo an operation for appendicitis. '
