BUSINESS DONE YESTERDAY.

Duress continued on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. In mining lines a sale took place in Talismans at 395. More wero inquired for at that figure, but sellers held for 39s 6d. Waihis were wanted at 33s 3d, but sellers quoted 33s 9d. Buyers of Waihi Grand Junctions offered 21s 9d, and there were sellers at 225. A sale took place in Waiotahis at 2s 8(1. In investment, stocks, National Insurances changed hands at 14s 6d. and there were further buyers at 14s 3d, with no sellers quoting. Westport Coals were done at 26s 9d.
