A COUNTRY STORE ROBBED
TWO SCRUB-CUTTERS CHARGED WITH THEFT.
about a fortnight ago, thieves visited the store at Kaiwaka, at the head of the North Auckland railway, arid decamped with goods valued at £17 15s. A sequel to the theft was the sulwequent arrest of Thomas Reddy and Charles Simon Ologosky, two men who .had been engaged at scrub-cutting work some nine or ten, miles out of Kaiwaka. The accused were brought before Mr. F. V. Frazer, S.M., at the Police Court yesterday, and were remanded till Friday. Bail was allowed in one surety of £100, or two of £50 each.
