TARANAKI OIL WELLS.
| PROGRESS OF THE WORK. [BT TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] New Plymouth, Friday. Goon progress is being made at the Taranaki Oil Wells, Limited, works. The refinery building* are in course of erection, the derrick for the first rotary drill has been completed, and the plant is mostly On the ground. The railway siding into the works is well under way. The three yielding wells are all flowing freely. The bore at the. Bell Block is now down 110 ft, and preparations are well advanced for starting a further bore in that locality.
