The' chairman reported that with regard to the destruction of the Hobsonville resi- : dence by fire on the 15th inst.,the Minister had been furnished with a. report showing the cause of the fire was accidental, and had intimated that it was, unnecessary to hold .a formal; in-. quiry. - '" ■-■'■■..
