At the Melbourne University Council meeting last week, the Vice-Chancellor (Dr. Macfarland) moved that the University join with the "Universities in the other Australian States in inviting Professor Thomas H. Mawson, lecturer in landscapa' design in the University of Liverpool, to deliver a.course of extension lectures in the chief centres of Australia.
