STOCKS AND SHARES.
BUSINESS DONE YESTERDAY.
On* the Stock Exchange yesterday Waihis , again attracted most attention, being sold at 38s on 'Change and 37s 9d on the floor, while closing sellers refused 37s and held for 37s 9d. Waihi Grand Junctions were I done at 22s 9d and 235. there being further sellers at the latter figure, with buyers quoting 22s 6d. Iu Talisman Consolidateds transactions took place at 41s 6d, closing sellers quoting 41s 9d and closing buyers 41s 6<l. Other mining stocks were not in much demand. In investment stocks a sale of Auckland Gas (new issue) took place at 635, closing sellers asking 655, with no buyers quoting. Dovonport Steam Ferries changed hands at 365, and Auckland Tramways (prof.) at, 245, closing buyers offering 23s 6d and sellers asking 24s 6d.
