Wjii.i.txotox, Thursday. Fob some considerable lime the residents of Stanley Bay, and more particularly of Stanley Point, have complained bitterly of tho action of the Postal Department, in charging 6d delivery fee on all telegrams delivered outside the mile radius from Devonport Post Office.

This matter was brought under (he notice of (lie Department by .Mr. A. Harris, M.P. (Waitemata), with the result that instructions have now been issued extending the distance for free delivery of telegrams to two miles.
