DAMAGED ENGLISH CROPS.

The Times says that the British wheat crop is estimated to be 80.15 per cent, of the average, barley 83.1 per cent, and oats 79.4 per cent., It states that it is difficult to see where sound seed of any cereal can be found. • There is still hope in the event of better weather in Scotland, but the " damage : in' England and Wales is already done.
