; Gretmoutii, Wednesday. The criminal sessions of the Supremo Court opened to-day before Judge Denniston. • The judge congratulated the district on the comparative absence of crime, there being only two criminal eases, neither of which presented any difficulty. The grand jury found true'bills against George Tikoeti, carnal knowledge, and John Watson, .assault causing grievous bodily ,harm. The hearing oil the cases occupied all day. Both accused were found not guilty. Walter Hargreaves, aged 17, remanded for sentence from Murchison on two charges of forgery, was admitted, to probation on the first charge and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon in the second case. . \>
