A sub-committee was set up to arrange a camp smoke social in honour of Honorary Provincial Commandant W. F. Massey, the Prime Minister, on the occasion of his first official visit to the province.

It was announced that, as the result of a meeting at Ngaruawahia, fifty men had applied for enrolment forms on the active sen-ice list, bringing the total of those who have either sent in applications or have signified their intention of doing so, to well over 500 in the Auckland district.

-An announcement was made to the meeting that a committee was now being formed in Wellington to start a command of the Legion there, and it was resolved to convey fraternal greetings to that committee.
