A hockey match for tho Gordon Cup was played here to-day between Wair.uapa and Horowhenua in fine weather, and before a good attendance. The borne team showed superior combination, their passing being a, feature of the match. The first spell was all in favour of Wairarapa, who scored four goals. The second spell was more even, one goal being scored for Wairarapa. The final scores were: Wairarana 5, Horowhenua nil. LADIES' TRIAL GAME.
