I'. Dyer, a- well known and highly respected resident of Cambridge, died yesterday morning in ins 79th year. He took It prominent port in Masonic matters, and had officiated as lay reader of tho Anglican Church for many years. Mr P. W. Dyer, S.M., is the only surviving son of the deceased. A presentation of a gold watch was made yesterday to Detective Issell by-'the detective and . uniform staff at the Auckland central station.
