The wettest place in the North Island for the month of Juno was Bonnie Glen, Upper Ilutt, where a fall of 11.26 inches was recorded. This was easily exceeded at several recording stations in the South Island, whero the palm was taken by Otira, with a rainfall of 21.39 inches.
