NELSON LOAN PROPOSALS.
[BT TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Nelson, Wednesday. A poll was taken to-day on two loan proposals. The first was for £3200 for the erection of salt water baths, and the second for £1200 -for the extension of the waterworks reserve. The first proposal was defeated by 391 ; votes to 489, and the second was carried by 613 votes to 269.
