Rooms on Monday evening last.. - It was decided that all applications for examinations should in future be directed I to the district secretary (Mr. J. Buddie), ' who will also keep a complete register (apart from that kept by the troops) of all scouts attached to the organisation. Forms £ for this purpose will be., forwarded to the • scoutmasters. These are to be filled in as at ; June 30, and returned to the district secretary without delay. The annual meeting at which all officers, including instructors, are specially requested to be present, is fixed for Saturday,! 29th inst., in the Y.M.O.A. ■ Rooms. ' '.. ' ■■: "H" '■■-■ ; :-i'' The Ponsonby No. 1 troop (Scoutmaster Lynch) will hold a troop social on Thursi. day evening next. The district commander visited Devonport Nos. 3 and 4- troops (Chief Scoutmaster Bongard) on Thursday evening last. -This week visits will be paid to several city troops. '■-:',- ■: ■'■ Mr. A. W. Potter (director of first aid instruction) has unfortunately met with an accident which will incapacitate him for ' about a fortnight. "'_. ' Several members of the Granger troop (Chief-Scoutmaster R. Abe!) are ready for ' examination for ambulance badges.
