BOGUS STREET ACCIDENT.
♦ ■<—■ — ■■■■'■ AN UNSUCCESSFUL CLAIM. By Telegraph.—Press Association.— London, May 26. A claim for alleged damages has been made by Mr. and Mrs. George Davies, of St. James's Square, Holland Park, against the Hat Company for a collision of their taxi-cab with a street refuge. The defence was that Bavies bribed the driver, who testified to the circumstances of a bogus accident. ■ ii .\. , ■ -, A verdict was returned for the defendants. The judge impounded the documents and ordered a prosecution. '
