Bailey and Itoss were requested to make- applications for the necessary grants, including £600 tor Leslie's Gully culvert, through the local oflice. The Marine Department notified that the £1 for £1 subsidy up to JilCO was gtill available for clearing willows in the Te Onetea stream. The ■matter was held over till the next meeting, Mr Rosa reporting that the work had been delayed '!'• through the rising of the river. | .
