SALVATION ARMY.
The meetings at the Salvation Army Hall were largely attended throughout Sunday. Brigadier Vinee, tho Auckland provincial commander, wtw in command throughout the day, and had the assistance of a number of ofllcera. Open-air services were held at Customs-street and also at Wellesley and Queen Streets. The hrasa band and string band end tho "songsters' brigade" rendered several selections very acceptably. The guitar band, which is quite on attraction, has only lately been formed. Tho Garrison Band rendered an excellent programme in Albert l'ark in the afternoon in aid of Bandsman Andrews, and.the gum of £10 7s 10d was collected at the gates. Adjutant Haywood tenders hearty thanks to the band and friends for tho service rendered. * H
