Arrangements had been made for him to inspect cadets " ' and boy-scouts, and to give' addresses today, but. these arrangements have now - : ' been upset. The s.s. Wimmera, by which ' the Chief Scout is travelling from Sydney was. a day late in leaving that port, and ''' : she has met with bad weather; hence' she is not expected to arrive until eight a. m ' to-morrow. ■ ' :';'/,v Orders had been issued for 28 companies *' of senior cadets, five battalions of junior ' cadets, and the Dominion Boy Scouts -'to '''■'■- parade in the Domain' this afternoon V order that they may be reviewed by His Excellency the Governor, Dominion Chiof Scoot, and the Chief Scout. The actual inspection was set down for three p.m ' and was to bo followed by a display by the boy scouts, and by addresses by His • <> Excellency and the Chief Scout.
