HINDU WOMEN IN CANADA.

By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright. Ottawa, May 24. The Government, by a special act of grace, has allowed two Hindu women to remain with their husbands, the first Hindu women in Canada.

A recent cablegram stated that the Canadian Government had refused to relax the immigration restriction law in the case of two Hindoo women, wives of residents of Canada. The latter, who had revisited India, had just returned with their wives. The deportation of the women was ordered owing to their not complying with the regulations providing for continuous passage from India to Canada*
