STAR OF CANADA LEAVES SYDNEY. In continuation of her voyage from London th« Tyser liner Star of Canada lett Sydney on Saturday morning for Auckland, Napier, and Wellington. The vessel, which is due here on Wednesday evening or early on Thursday morning, has on board 4004 tons of cargo for this port. WIMMERA RUNNING LATE. Wireless advices were received last night by the Wellington radio station and the steamer Victoria which stated that the Wimmera is meeting with strong easterly weather and -a heavy head sea on the passage from Sydney to Auckland, and will not reach Auckland until 8 a.m. to-morrow. The -vessel left the New South Wales port at noon on Thursday last, a day later than usual. Her departure for Southern ports; will probably be postponed until a late hour to-morrow night. , SEARCH FOR DREDGE MANCHESTER. Shortly after 1 pan. on. Saturday the steamer Eden, which has been engaged for the past, fortnight in searching the Taxman Sea for the missing dredge Manchester, arrived in port. The vessel berthed at the Queen-street Wharf. She left Sydnev on Slav 11, and searched in a zigzag course as far north as Norfolk Island, but saw no sign of wreckage of any description. The Eden wilt take in about 20& tons of coal and a supply of fresh water to-day, and will probably leave again this evening to continue the search. „ MOVEMENTS OF MAIL-STEAMERS. The E.M.S. Makura, which left Auckland on" the evening of May 10 for Vancouver, via way porta, » due at her destination to-morrow. She leaves the Canadian port again on June 12, and is due back at Auckland on July 2 and Sydney four days later. The B.M.S. Marama, en route from Vancouver to Auckland and Sydney, via way ports, is due at Suva on Friday next. Being timed to sail again the same day, the liner arrives here on June 4, and eaila on that date for Sydney direct. The R.M.S. Zealandia is scheduled to leave Sydney on June 3 for Auckland. She arrives here on the morning of June 7, and sails the same day for Suva, Honolulu, and Vancouver, the vessel being due at the Canadian port on June 25. The K.M.S. Tahiti, which left Wellington on Friday evening last for San Francisco, via way ports," is due it Rarotonga on Wednesday, Papeete on Friday, and San Francisco on June 13. The K.lf.S. Manuka is due at Sydney to-morrow from San Francisco and Wellington. She remains at the New South Wales port until June 15, when she leaves on that date for Wellington, Rarotonga, Papeete, and San Francioco. The B.MS. Aorangi is scheduled to leave San Francisco on Wednesday for Wellington and Sydney, via Papeete and Rarotonga. The Aorangi is expected at Wellington on June <j0 and Sydney five days later.

VICTORIA FROM SOUTHERN' PORTS. The Huddart-Parker' steamer Victoria, arrived from Southern ports at. 5.30 p.m. yesterday and berthed at the Queen-street Wharf. Her late arrival was due to her detention at Oisborne owing to the large amount of cargo to be shipped. The purser reports that departure' was taken from Dunedin on the afternoon of May 21, calls being made at Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier, Gisborne and Tokomaru Bay coming north. The Victoria left Gisbrne at 4 p.m. on Saturday. Fine weather ■was experienced throughout the voyage. In continuation of her running the Victoria will sail at 5,30 p.m. to-day for Sydney direct. PASSENGERS B7 THE NAIRNSHIRE. The Federal-Houlder-Shire steamer Nairnshire, which is dtie at Auckland about June 10 from Liverpool, is bringing the following passengers:— Saloon: For Wellington—Dr!
