Act, 19j9. and Amendments and Regulations made thereunder respectively. . ~ The Body Corporate of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Mount Eden, known a3 the Mount Eden Borough Council, hereby give notice in the terms ot "The Local Bodies" Loans Act. 1908, and Amendments and the Regulations made thereunder:— 1. Corner of Lot 98; thence west to the south-west corner of Lot 98, thence north to the N.W. corner of Lot 98, thence west to the S.W. corner of Lot 108, thence south to the N.E. corner of Lot 129. thence west to the N.W. corner of Lot 129. £6500. (b) To provide water mains for future streets to bo dedicated and formed within the said area. £2000. 2. The proposed security for the repayment of the said Special Loan, and Interest thereon is a Special Annually-recurring Rate of Is 6d in the_£, to be made "and levied on the annual value of all ratable property', in the Special Area previously described for the purposes of the said Special Loan. 3. In addition to such Special Rate there is proposed as security for the repayment of such loan the whole of the revenues of- the Borough of Mount Eden (other'and excepting the revenue " derived, from the Special Rates levied for special purposes and undertakings), subject to the existing loans chargeable on these revenues. 4. It is proposed to make such Loan repayable in 35i years— (a) At a rate of interest not exceeding 4J per cent, per annum, payable halfyearly, together with a Sinking Fund of £1 per cent, per annum, or (b) At a rate of interest (including principal) under the instalment system, as provided by "The New Zealand State Guaranteed Advances Act, 1909," and Amendments. 5. It is proposed to pay out of the Loan Moneys the preliminary expenses and the costs incurred in connection with the scheme for which the Loan is pro* J posed, and the cost of raising the .Loan, and the first year's interest of the Loan during the construction of the said works for which the.
