"A LONG FIGHT AHEAD."
London, May 23. In a speech at Barnsley (Yorkshire), Mr. John Dillon (Nationalist member for Mayo East and ex-leader of the Irish party) said that he was not over-sanguine regarding the position of Home Rule. There would, he said, be a long and severe fight before the Bill reached the Statute Book. Mr. Dillon added that Ireland would not submit to Ulster's audacious claim to ascendancy.
